Tracker Transmitter Schematic

This is a transmitting device that I designed and built many years ago. It is a pulsed oscillator and frequency multiplier. Not long afterwards, a follow-on circuit was designed by myself, at NRG Kits, which dispensed with the oscillator stage, and the two frequency multiplier transistors were made to oscillate, as well as multiply. The new circuit would be called 'Push Pull Frequency Doubling Oscillator' and heralded a breakthrough in RF design.So looking back, the device below probably set the path for the important design work that resulted in high performance transmitter kits like the PLL-PRO III.
